  • Absolutely. Many founders take the FTRA well before they’re ready to sell or step away. It’s a tool to help you begin thinking ahead—long before deals are on the table—so you can lead with intention, reduce risk, and align your future with what really matters.

  • The assessment typically takes 7 to 10 minutes to complete. It’s intentionally brief, yet powerful—designed to give you meaningful insight in a focused format.

  • No, the FTRA is currently free to access. We believe every founder deserves clarity around their transition, regardless of where they are in the process.

  • Yes. Once you submit your responses, you’ll receive a preview of your results on-screen immediately, along with a downloadable PDF report with more detailed results. Depending on your results, you may also receive a follow-up invitation for a deeper conversation about what’s next.

  • Yes. You’re welcome to retake the assessment as your mindset, business, or circumstances shift. We recommend waiting at least 60–90 days between assessments so your results reflect meaningful change.
